Searchlight South Asia is a monthly newsletter created by Intellecap for the Rockefeller Foundation to report trends in urban poverty in Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan. The project started in September 2009 as way to highlight on-the-ground urban issues and initiatives. Through the content and research presented on a variety of subjects — such as education, water and sanitation, health, energy and infrastructure — the newsletter seeks to raise awareness and inspire ideas to action.

Intellecap works at the intersection of the private sector and development. It provides consulting and investment banking services, driven by innovative thought processes, to business and development communities globally. By helping these different communities, Intellecap is able to bring entrepreneurship solutions to development challenges at the bottom of the pyramid (BoP) and beyond.
